Kamen Rider Kuuga Kamen Rider Kuuga 20th.Next time, an awesome bike fight! CHOU HENSHIN! Questions that will only slowly be answered as the series progresses. This suggests that the Grongi are, in fact, human, rather than aliens, and raises a lot of questions about them and their abilities, motives, etc. Examination of the blood samples left behind by the Spider Grongi are shocking, because the blood is extremely similar to human blood moreseo than any other species. There is one important revelation that comes in this episode, which changes how you look at the series. Godai doesn’t know they’re armed to the tooth with instructions to kill, but he can tell they don’t think he’s on their side, and we close on Kuuga looking like a deer in headlights. Godai was just about to hop on a train back up to Nagano when he saw the attack, and he intervenes in the fight just in time for the police to show up and take aim at both of them. The first two episodes were in Nagano, where the tomb was, but the Grongi begin to move their operations to the capital city due to the high population, and Zu-Mebio-Da (the Leopard Grongi) appears after chasing a biker who harassed her earlier. This will all become important in the next episode.įinally, the action shifts to Tokyo for a while as of this episode. This episode really wants you to know about the TRCS2000 police bike, as one excitable rookie cop keeps trying to show it to Ichijou, who is already well versed in its specs and abilities. They don’t speak much, and when they do it’s in the Grongi language, but even without using the translation you can understand that she’s in charge of them all. Ra-Baruba-De, the Rose Grongi, is seen directly giving orders to the Zu-Gooma-Gu (the Bat Grongi) and a group of four are shown holding her rose petals elsewhere, implying she has summoned them. We even start to see their power hierarchy. It really drives home that they’ve been out of the picture for a long time. They aren’t blending in, in fact they’re very distinctive, but they wander around the humans and take in the sights, sounds, smells, and generally try to understand how this culture works. Speaking of the Grongi, we begin to see them integrate into human society. Since the panther grongi travels to Tokyo and Godai engages it, this doesn’t work out in the end, but it was a really moving gesture. Ichijou tries to protect Godai from the police by explaining that Unidentified Lifeforms #2 and #4 (Kuuga Growing and Mighty Forms) saved him, but he cannot prove his case and the chief is not swayed, so he tries to call Godai directly and warn him to stay in Tokyo, because if the police see Kuuga they have orders to shoot him on sight. The special police task force to combat the Unidentified Lifeforms is formed and we get to see inside their operation, as they share all the information they have and prepare to take on the monsters by upping their arsenal. How many ways can I say I love what this show is doing? Allowing its characters to recuperate after the events of the last two episodes is smart and makes them feel real, and we also get to see Godai’s sister, who works at a preschool. Today on Kuuga, we get a glimpse at Godai’s personal life, the Grongi’s efforts to understand human society, and the police countermeasures to the growing threat of the Unidentified Lifeforms. This is a beautiful way to put it and i’m gonna cry abt it #discovering that the profound is lurking behind the absurd #just waiting for the chance to peek through like sunlight through the clouds #is one of the best things in life once you start to notice it This is my addition to this ever growing list of raw quotes originating from unexpected sources Huh, it’s almost like art isn’t just fine art… This is the source for this text and it haunts me on a regular basis – Shadow the Hedgehog in what is widely considered one of if not the single worst game in the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise “If the world chooses to become my enemy, I will fight like I always have.” – Joshua Graham, Who Is A Fallout New Vegas NPC, Something Most People Throwing This Quote Around Don’t Realize “I survived because the fire inside me burned brighter than the fire around me.” “i am a monument to all your sins” is such a fucking raw line for a villain it’s amazing that it came from halo, a modernish video game, and not some classical text or mythosĬlassic texts have nothing on the crazy people come up with in modern times tbh
